Zero and a snowy run.....

Well I lost a whole lot of nothing this week. Since I ate enough for a family on my birthday I guess it could be worse. So feeling all sorry for myself (best feeling ever, right?) ALL I wanted was to go out to lunch. I figured since I had to shower this a.m. to help in Marissa’s class( I can’t believe she is half way through 5th grade!) I would make D.H. take me out to lunch. Unfortunately when I was finished in her class it was not lunch time. So I went home for a while. At home I realized even though I thought this was a rest day on my new plan, it might not be. And it isn’t, it’s a 3 mile day (so is tomorrow). I really wasn’t in the mood for the TM though I do generally like it. Too bad we FINALLY got the snow we have been waiting for. It snowed all night and blew/snowed all morning (Still.Snowing). What’s a girl to do? Pick myself up off the floor, put some warm clothes on and head outside. That’s right, three miles in the freezing snowy windy cold. It was awesome, no music just me and a lot of snow. Not many people on the road. I did get stopped by the train that was moving oh so slow but other than that AND stepping in a drift it was good (and SLOW). Like a 13 minute mile, I even wore my trail shoes not my running shoes. Thus keeping me up right the ENTIRE run. Here I am after (I am not a wear make up and workout kind of girl, but I had actually showered this a.m. so excuse the black smudges)

  2. You look awesome and have a GREAT snowy run. Girl that's something to be proud of. You can't be expected to be amazing 24/7 and so you shouldn't put such high expectations on yourself. I love your body girl!!!
